JavaScript Developer

Role overview

This remote contract role is for a JavaScript specialist who will contribute to improving AI systems using high-quality, real-world input. The position focuses on helping models learn, reason, and perform more effectively. No prior AI background is needed; strong subject-matter expertise is the key requirement.

What you'll do

• Build, refine, and tune reliable frontend solutions using advanced JavaScript practices.
• Work with cross-functional partners to turn business needs into clear, user-friendly digital experiences.
• Take part in architectural choices and support junior team members while promoting strong engineering standards.
• Use current frontend frameworks and libraries to create applications that scale well and are easy to maintain.
• Review code, share helpful feedback, and encourage high-quality, efficient development habits.
• Diagnose difficult technical problems and address performance issues before they become blockers.
• Keep up with changes in the industry and bring in fresh tools or methods to improve development processes.

What we're looking for

• Deep hands-on experience creating advanced web applications with JavaScript.
• Strong command of modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular, along with state management tools.
• Ability to produce code that is clean, maintainable, and well documented.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with a collaborative working style.
• Experience influencing frontend architecture and guiding development efforts.
• Good understanding of web performance tuning and responsive design.
• Comfort working with remote, distributed teams.

Preferred background

• Experience mentoring or coaching other developers.
• Exposure to accessible and internationally adaptable web interfaces.
• Familiarity with automated testing, CI/CD workflows, and version control tools.
