Position Details

• Employment Status: Part-time or full-time
• Shift: Evening hours
• Compensation: $15 per hour
• Payment Frequency: Weekly

Primary Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning and upkeep of designated floor surfaces by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Adhere to established procedures when handling chemical cleaners and powered equipment to avoid damage to floors and fixtures.
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, conference rooms, corridors, and lobby areas.
• Dispose of trash appropriately, utilizing compactors as necessary.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using proper methods and equipment.
• Spot clean carpets and assist with carpet extraction and shampooing tasks.
• Restock paper supplies and sanitation products regularly.
• Follow prescribed housekeeping schedules consistently.
• Occasionally operate heavy cleaning machinery such as floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers.
• Perform additional job-related tasks as assigned, tailored to client requirements.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent credential, or a minimum of six months experience in janitorial work.
• Willingness to undergo on-the-job training.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial roles.
• Knowledge of commercial custodial practices and standards.
• Familiarity with floor care methods including buffing and waxing.
• Experience in industrial cleaning or facility maintenance is advantageous.
