Overview

OperationsCo is seeking a dependable Janitor / Light Facilities Maintenance Worker for a full-time position based in Markham, Ontario. This is a temporary-to-permanent role based on performance with a standard work schedule from Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 5 PM. The role offers weekly pay and requires an immediate start.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out general janitorial duties across various facility areas including washrooms, offices, common spaces, and production zones.
• Perform light facility maintenance tasks such as minor repairs, basic wall repairs, touch-up painting, and fixture upkeep.
• Follow workplace health and safety guidelines strictly and report major maintenance or safety issues promptly.
• Remain adaptable to assist in various facility locations as operational needs arise.

Candidate Requirements

• Prior experience in janitorial, commercial, or industrial cleaning roles.
• Familiarity with performing minor repair and light maintenance duties.
• Ability to work independently while effectively managing assigned tasks.
• Strong focus on detail and adherence to safety protocols.
• Dependable attendance and reliable transportation.
• Physical capability to perform standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive movements as required by the job.
• Availability to work full shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
• Willingness and ability to pass a criminal background check as part of employment prerequisites.
