Job Overview
We are looking for a committed IT Operations Manager to join us full-time on-site in Limal. This role requires supervising the entire IT infrastructure, systems, and support teams to guarantee optimal uptime, security, and operational efficiency. The manager will handle daily business-as-usual activities including help desk management, network and server administration, and vendor coordination. Responsibilities also include enforcing IT policies, budget oversight, and leading technical teams aligned with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain physical and cloud servers, networks, databases, and security systems to uphold high availability standards.
- Lead and manage IT personnel including system administrators and help desk staff through delegation, training, and mentorship.
- Oversee system maintenance tasks such as software installations, hardware upgrades, and scheduled backups.
- Administer IT service desk operations to ensure timely resolution of technical issues faced by employees.
- Implement and supervise security measures, including firewalls and data protection policies to maintain compliance.
- Develop and update disaster recovery strategies to support continuous business operations.
Qualifications and Skills
- Must hold a valid driving licence.
- Proficiency in French, English, or Dutch is required.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Extensive experience in IT operations, infrastructure management, or technical support, including previous management roles.
- Technical expertise in network technologies (LAN/WAN), server management (Active Directory, virtualization), cloud services (AWS, Azure), and IT security protocols.
- Strong leadership, effective communication, problem-solving, and project management capabilities.
Preferred Certifications
- ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library)
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
- Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)
