This opening is for a client of JusticeSure in Abuja, Nigeria, which operates across multiple locations using the JusticeSure software platform. The position requires on-site work from Monday to Saturday.
Role overview
The Inventory Management Specialist will work full-time on-site in Abuja and will be responsible for keeping inventory operations accurate, efficient, and transparent. The role involves maintaining inventory records, tracking stock movements, supporting the use of inventory and POS systems within JusticeSure, and ensuring that physical stock matches system data. The specialist will also examine discrepancies, prepare reports, assist with audits, and work closely with finance, operations, and compliance teams to reduce losses and improve visibility.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain precise inventory records and keep stock information up to date.
- Track stock levels and coordinate the movement of materials across locations.
- Match physical stock counts with system entries and resolve variances.
- Investigate inventory differences and identify the reasons behind them.
- Prepare regular inventory reports for internal review and decision-making.
- Support the setup and use of inventory and POS tools within the platform.
- Help design and apply inventory control procedures.
- Assist with audits and contribute to stronger inventory governance.
- Work with finance, operations, and compliance teams to reduce leakage and improve operational clarity.
- Recommend process improvements that support efficient and accountable operations.
Requirements
- Strong background in inventory control and inventory management is needed to maintain accurate stock records and optimize levels.
- Good analytical ability is required to read inventory data, spot trends, and fix discrepancies.
- Clear communication skills are necessary for teamwork and for documenting inventory processes.
- Hands-on experience in materials management is important for handling stock movement, storage, and replenishment.
- Advanced Excel skills are mandatory.
- Experience in inventory or operations roles in retail, manufacturing, or technology-enabled businesses is an added advantage.
- Exposure to inventory software, ERP systems, or POS platforms is beneficial.
- High attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and integrity in managing sensitive operational information are essential.
- A diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Work is required Monday to Saturday on-site in Abuja.
