Role Overview
The International Sales Representative position is tailored for sales professionals aiming to establish a sustainable career in global B2B development and electronic component supply chain management. The role involves driving customer engagement, managing requests for quotations (RFQs), providing quotations, following up on leads, and maintaining effective client communications to tackle challenges like component shortages, lead time constraints, and lifecycle transitions.
This position extends beyond product sales to offering in-depth support tailored to customers’ procurement and supply chain needs through WIN SOURCE’s comprehensive global sourcing capabilities. Close collaboration with sales, sourcing, logistics, and quality departments allows for hands-on experience in international customer development and market understanding.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and sustain relationships with both new and existing customers within assigned markets.
- Identify and pursue new business prospects through market analysis, customer outreach, industry platforms, and consistent follow-up.
- Manage end-to-end sales processes including customer correspondence, RFQ handling, preparing quotations, order monitoring, and coordinating deliveries.
- Work collaboratively with internal sourcing, logistics, and quality teams to address issues like supply shortages, lifecycle risk, end-of-life components, lead times, and cost optimization.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of customer data, opportunity tracking, quotation documentation, and CRM records to support sustainable customer growth.
- Enhance product knowledge, market insights, and customer communication skills to bolster sales effectiveness in the electronics sector.
- Assist with customer meetings, marketing initiatives, and participate in international exhibitions when required.
Candidate Profile
- Possesses 1-2 years of experience in B2B sales, account management, business development, or related commercial roles demonstrating successful customer development and business scaling.
- Experience or understanding of electronic components, semiconductors, electronics distribution, EMS, or manufacturing supply chains is strongly preferred.
- Exhibits strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities with a customer-centric approach and a commercial mindset.
- Proactive and ownership-driven with a passion for international sales and business expansion in diverse markets.
