Position Overview

Hercules Crane & Lifting Supplies seeks an Inspector based in Delta, British Columbia, responsible for inspecting and testing below-the-hook lifting equipment, rigging, and fall arrest gear to ensure compliance with provincial and federal safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of lifting, rigging, and fall protection equipment.
• Prepare precise and organized reports documenting inspection findings.
• Support other functions including rigging and warehouse activities as needed.
• Submit inspection reports promptly, according to job requirements.
• Manage paperwork and inventory records for certification and billing.
• Maintain company equipment on a routine schedule.
• Be willing to travel or work offsite at job locations.

Qualifications

• Completion of high school or equivalent education.
• No prior experience necessary; full training provided.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist level.
• Valid and insurable driver’s license required.
• Legal work eligibility in Canada mandatory.

Additional Details

• Compensation ranges from $24 to $28 per hour, based on experience.
