Role Overview

This position is based in the United States and involves transforming intricate healthcare datasets into actionable insights that guide strategic decisions. You will contribute to initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, product development, and member experience by applying analytical expertise combined with healthcare knowledge and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Examine complex healthcare datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities that drive business results and better healthcare outcomes.
Collaborate with teams from product, marketing, operations, and engineering to identify business needs and develop analytical solutions.
Develop and apply statistical, modeling, and machine learning techniques to derive meaningful insights.
Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations that clearly communicate key metrics to stakeholders.
Foster a culture of data literacy and encourage analytics-based decision making throughout the organization.
Utilize emerging analytics technologies and best practices to enhance insight capabilities.
Ensure responsible data use by maintaining privacy, security, and regulatory compliance, particularly under healthcare-specific guidelines.
Support strategic projects by formulating analytical frameworks from business questions and providing clear recommendations.
Handle sensitive company and member data ethically and in accordance with policies and compliance standards.

Candidate Requirements

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Public Health, or related fields, with advanced degrees preferred.
Minimum of three years experience in data analytics or business intelligence, with at least two years in roles involving healthcare data.
Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, and BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
Experience analyzing healthcare claims, clinical, operational, or financial datasets.
Familiarity with using generative AI tools for data analysis, coding, workflow automation, and generating insights, applying ethical AI standards.
Strong ability to convert complex data into actionable and strategic business insights.
Excellent problem-solving aptitude, independence, ability to manage ambiguity, and organizational skills.
Outstanding communication and presentation skills for diverse technical and non-technical audiences.
Knowledge of healthcare practices, data governance, compliance, and regulations including HIPAA.
Preferred experience in statistical methods and machine learning techniques.
High ethical standards with a strong sense of accountability in data management.
