Job Overview

This position involves overseeing and implementing policies linked to the company's Employee Assistance Program (EAP). It requires managing both inpatient and outpatient counseling services to ensure they adhere to organizational standards. Additionally, the role encompasses providing management training on handling medical and behavioral issues and offering counseling support to employees engaged with the program.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and administer policies and procedures for the Employee Assistance Program.
  • Guarantee that counseling and care facilities meet company quality benchmarks.
  • Conduct training for management on addressing various medical and behavioral challenges.
  • Provide direct counseling services to employees participating in the program.
  • Contribute strategic insights impacting the functional area of responsibility.
  • Lead through subordinate managers and professionals within moderately complex organizational structures.
  • Report directly to senior leadership.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a pertinent discipline.
  • At least eight years of professional experience as an Employee Assistance Program specialist.
  • Valid California licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT or LMFT), or as a licensed psychologist (PhD).
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with staff and faculty.
  • Capability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Proficiency with computer systems to ensure precise and comprehensive documentation.
