About the Role

Join the team at SMB Vitacress Salads in Andover as a Hygiene Operative working night shifts. This full-time permanent position operates on a 4 days on, 4 days off schedule, with working hours from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The role offers a competitive hourly wage of £15.97, amounting to an annual salary of £33,425.21.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of factory machinery, production equipment, and designated areas to maintain top hygiene standards.
• Adhere strictly to cleaning guidelines and Hygiene Cleaning Instruction Cards (CICs).
• Maintain food safety and microbiological standards to ensure product quality.
• Participate in hygiene audits and address any identified non-conformances promptly.
• Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or damages observed during cleaning operations.
• Collaborate closely with team members to meet daily operational objectives.
• Provide support and training to new team members when needed.
• Uphold a safe working environment by following all company policies and procedures.
