HVAC Technician

Role Overview

We are looking for a competent HVAC Technician responsible for installing, operating, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across residential, commercial, or industrial settings. The position ensures these systems function safely, efficiently, and adhere to project specifications and relevant codes.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, test, commission, maintain, and repair various HVAC systems including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, DX units, VRF/VRV systems, split & packaged units, and exhaust/fresh air systems.
• Conduct scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Identify system faults and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system issues.
• Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals accurately.
• Perform refrigerant charging, pressure testing, vacuuming, and leak detection correctly.
• Monitor and analyze system performance to suggest efficiency improvements.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards, local regulations, and project quality requirements.
• Maintain accurate service reports, maintenance logs, and documentation.
• Collaborate effectively with supervisors, engineers, and other trades.
• Respond promptly to emergency system breakdowns.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or ITI certification in HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or related discipline.
• Hands-on experience ranging from 3 to 7 years in HVAC installation and maintenance within projects or facilities.
• Robust understanding of mechanical, electrical, and control aspects of HVAC systems.
• Experience working on projects in the GCC/UAE region is preferred.
• Familiarity with international standards such as ASHRAE, SMACNA, and CIBSE is advantageous.

• Basic understanding of electrical circuits and control panels.
