Role Overview

We are hiring a People Partner for a technology firm, responsible for aligning people strategies with business growth. This role acts as the central liaison between leadership and employees to promote people practices and enhance the employee experience. It involves both managing day-to-day human resources tasks and developing initiatives that bolster organizational culture and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with leaders from Engineering, Product, Sales, and General & Administrative teams to synchronize workforce planning and people strategies with organizational goals.
  • Act as the primary advisor to management on employee relations, performance evaluations, coaching, and other HR-related topics.
  • Track employee engagement, retention, and team health metrics, analyzing trends to recommend improvements based on data.
  • Administer leaves, provide workplace accommodations, and ensure compliance with federal and multi-state employment regulations.
  • Drive talent development efforts such as career progression, leadership training, manager development, and succession planning.
  • Work closely with Recruiting and People Operations to ensure a smooth candidate-to-employee transition and an effective onboarding experience.
  • Promote and integrate company core values into daily HR practices to strengthen organizational culture.
  • Handle sensitive employee issues with discretion, sound judgment, confidentiality, and prompt resolution.

Required Qualifications

  • Over 5 years of advancing HR experience, including a minimum of 2 years as a Human Resources Business Partner, People Partner, or HR Generalist directly supporting business leadership.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth startup or tech company environment.
  • In-depth understanding of U.S. federal and multi-state employment laws, with the ability to evaluate risks and offer guidance or escalate legal concerns appropriately.
  • Proven track record of establishing trust with managers and employees and influencing decisions throughout the organization.
  • Strong communication abilities, both written and oral, with tact in handling sensitive matters.
  • A proactive, outcome-driven approach toward problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting distributed or remote-first teams.
  • Professional HR certifications such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP.
  • Familiarity with modern HRIS and people analytics tools like JustWorks, Rippling, Lattice, BambooHR, or equivalents.
  • Experience creating and implementing HR programs for organizations with 50 to 200 employees.
  • Background in supporting technical, sales, customer success, and administrative departments.

Compensation

The annual salary range for this position is between $155,000 and $180,000.
