About the Role

The client requires an HR Analyst for an 18-month fixed-term contract, joining an established HR Business Partnering team. The primary focus is on supporting the entire employee lifecycle, managing key HR projects, executing annual people-related cycles, and delivering detailed reporting and people analytics. This position is crucial for providing accurate and timely HR metrics on various domains including headcount, attrition, absence, diversity, recruitment, reward, and workforce planning.

This role collaborates closely with HR Business Partners, HR Operations, and other business stakeholders to ensure effective HR processes, robust governance, and ongoing enhancements within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide generalist support throughout the employee lifecycle by assisting with onboarding, probation management, performance assessments, absence tracking, engagement initiatives, and offboarding procedures.
  • Coordinate and support annual HR processes such as performance reviews, talent evaluations, engagement surveys, compensation and reward reviews, and diversity and inclusion programs.
  • Offer practical HR guidance daily to employees and managers, ensuring consistent application of policies and best practices.
  • Produce and maintain recurring HR reports and metrics covering headcount, full-time equivalents, attrition, absenteeism, diversity, internal mobility, and training; analyze this data to uncover trends, risks, and strategic insights for leadership.
  • Maintain and update Excel-based HR trackers, templates, and reporting tools alongside HR Operations to guarantee accuracy and consistency of employee data across HR systems.
  • Provide frontline support on employee relations matters, assisting with basic cases and advising line managers on workplace legislation and compliance.
  • Contribute to strategic talent retention and internal mobility efforts by leveraging data-driven insights to future-proof the organization.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum of three years’ experience in HR generalist, coordination, or HR Business Partner support roles, preferably within fast-paced corporate or financial services environments.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the full employee lifecycle HR processes combined with practical understanding of Irish employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with strong data analytics capabilities including managing HR metrics, reporting, trend identification, and delivering clear insights.
  • Formal qualifications in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline, such as CIPD certification, are advantageous.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, capable of building strong relationships at all organizational tiers.
  • A solutions-oriented mindset, meticulous attention to detail, discretion in handling confidential information, and dedication to continuous process improvements.

Location and Work Setup

This position is based in South Dublin, specifically in the Blackrock area, with hybrid working options available.
