Role overview

As an HR Operations Manager, you will lead efficient and scalable HR operations that support the full employee journey. You will work closely with HR, Payroll, IT, Legal, and business teams to improve processes, strengthen HR systems, and apply automation and AI-enabled solutions to boost productivity and the employee experience. Key responsibilities

  • Improve the use of HR platforms such as Workday and Freshservice, along with connected tools, to streamline workflows, expand self-service, and create a better employee experience.
  • Find and implement opportunities to use AI and automation in HR workflows to increase efficiency, cut manual work, and generate actionable insights.
  • Define and track SLAs, KPIs, and other operational measures to assess performance and support ongoing improvement.
  • Work with Payroll to keep employee data accurate and uphold strong HR data quality standards.
  • Support compliance through regular audits and alignment with company policies and applicable regional employment laws.
  • Contribute to HR technology, AI, automation, and transformation projects while acting as a subject matter expert for HR operations.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Centers of Excellence, IT, Legal, and business leaders to deliver scalable HR solutions.
  • Assist with onboarding, benefits administration, and other core employee lifecycle programs when required.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of experience in HR Operations or Shared Services, ideally within a fast-moving global technology company.
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms, preferably Workday, and with HR case management tools such as Freshservice or similar systems.
  • Exposure to AI-enabled HR tools, workflow automation, or digital HR solutions, with the ability to spot efficiency gains.
  • Strong knowledge of the hire-to-retire employee lifecycle and proven HR operations practices.
  • Demonstrated success in improving processes, leading cross-functional projects, and using data and technology to raise service quality.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, with an action-oriented and improvement-focused mindset.
