Housekeeper

Role Overview

We are seeking a casual Housekeeper to join the dedicated team at Elderslea Lodge in Upper Hutt. This position involves a variety of duties focused on maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and safety within an aged care setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing comprehensive cleaning and laundry services.
• Maintaining cleanliness of communal and living areas for residents.
• Adhering strictly to established policies and procedures to ensure all areas are sanitized, safe, and free from hazards.
• Embracing a role offering significant variety in daily tasks.

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping roles.
• Familiarity and experience handling chemical cleaning agents safely.
• Strong verbal communication skills to work effectively within a team.
• A friendly, respectful demeanour towards residents.
• Passion for fostering a secure and hygienic environment.
• Attention to detail and thoroughness in all tasks.
• Capacity to work on rostered shifts.
• Eligibility to work in New Zealand is required.
