Position Overview

The role of Housekeeper - Hotels at Alloggio Hotels involves maintaining cleanliness and presentation standards in hotel public areas and selected motel rooms. Reporting to the Thornton Manager, this position plays a key role in supporting the overall guest experience and serving multiple stakeholders including property owners, guests, vendors, and the local community.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning of all public areas including vacuuming, mopping, and general maintenance such as addressing lawn and garden issues.
• Clean common spaces and check laundry facilities as needed.
• Empty rubbish receptacles and maintain cleanliness in garbage zones and parking areas.
• Execute room cleaning duties such as bed making, bathroom cleaning, sweeping, mopping, and surface wiping with a systematic approach to uphold high standards.
• Maintain kitchen ovens safely and hygienically.
• Assist in restocking linens and consumables.
• Deliver excellent customer service when interacting with guests or colleagues.
• Maintain respect for team members and management.
• Care for gardens and lawns at specific properties including Tudor and Hanbury.
• Ensure outdoor public areas are clean, bins emptied regularly, ashtrays managed, and spaces inviting and relaxing.

Candidate Profile

• Dependable, honest individual with a solid work ethic.
• Experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles is advantageous but not mandatory as training is provided.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
• Well-organized with strong attention to detail.

• Physical fitness adequate for performing cleaning duties throughout the work shift.
