Position Overview

The Oaks Milton Brisbane is expanding its housekeeping team and offers casual positions to detail-oriented and committed individuals passionate about maintaining exceptional guest experiences. Ideal candidates possess energy, precision, and the ability to collaborate within a team-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Uphold cleanliness standards by thoroughly cleaning guestrooms, meticulously making beds, vacuuming floors, and sanitizing bathrooms to ensure an immaculate atmosphere.
• Complete assigned cleaning tasks efficiently within designated working hours set by the company.
• Coordinate with colleagues to fulfill daily cleaning targets and operational objectives.
• Comply with all safety guidelines and adhere to environmental protocols.
• Operate specialized cleaning equipment and utilize cleaning products safely and proficiently, supported by company-provided training and tools.
• Foster positive professional relationships with team members, guests, and contractors to promote a respectful and collaborative workplace.

Shift Details

• Work schedule is based on a rotating roster from Monday through Sunday.
• Shift start times generally range between 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM.

Compensation

• Monday to Friday: $33.85 per hour (excluding superannuation).
• Saturday: $40.62 per hour.
• Sunday: $47.39 per hour.

Candidate Qualifications

• Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles is advantageous.
• Exceptional attention to detail and dedication to maintaining superior cleanliness standards.
• Basic knowledge of safe cleaning chemical and equipment handling, with training provided.
• Good physical stamina and fitness required to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and prolonged standing.
• Effective communication skills for engagement with guests, team members, and contractors.
• Strong organizational and time management skills enabling task prioritization.
• Positive mindset coupled with a proactive work ethic.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
