About the Role

We are seeking dedicated Home Delivery Drivers to join our team in Carlisle, England. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy staying active, working independently, and interacting directly with customers as representatives of a well-established retailer. The position offers an hourly wage of £13.71 and includes a variety of benefits.

Key Responsibilities

• Load delivery vans safely, following manual handling and heavy lifting protocols.
• Adhere strictly to safe driving rules and regulations at all times.
• Perform regular van safety and maintenance checks before setting out.
• Ensure delivered food items reach customers in optimal condition.
• Provide friendly and excellent customer service during deliveries.
• Assist with in-store duties when necessary.
• Manage your schedule efficiently while working independently.
• Be prepared to work flexible shift times, which may vary between 6am and 11pm.

Applicant Requirements

• Possess a valid full driving license held for at least three years with no more than six penalty points.
• Maintain a positive, friendly attitude and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.
• Demonstrate punctuality and the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
• Have a strong understanding of road safety and driving best practices.
