Healthcare Project Manager

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced and goal-driven Senior Project Manager to become part of a proactive Policy and Strategy team in a prominent public health and human services agency. This position involves leading the contractual, financial, operational, and performance aspects of an important recuperative care (medical respite) program. Additionally, the role requires acting as an interagency coordinator across various behavioral health and regional health transformation efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the procurement, planning, execution, and performance monitoring of a multifaceted medical respite program.
• Develop and distribute comprehensive budget and program progress reports that comply with CMS guidelines.
• Manage contracts and budgets actively, tracking performance, spearheading quality improvement, monitoring milestones, and overseeing spending.
• Act as the central project management contact point for both internal and external parties, organize meetings, promote cross-team alignment, and keep detailed project records.
• Create and implement standard operating procedures, centralized document management systems, and efficient tracking tools to boost operational effectiveness.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Advanced project management expertise in healthcare settings, including experience with grant writing, budget creation, program evaluation, and refining processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and contemporary project management platforms and software.
• Strong ability to convert complex information into clear, digestible formats, such as infographics, executive PowerPoint slides, and well-organized Word or Excel reports.
• Resourceful and self-driven problem solver adept at handling multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Collaborative team player with experience coordinating across interdisciplinary groups and maintaining organized workflow trackers and documentation.

Education & Experience Requirements

• At least 5 years of demonstrated project management experience within healthcare, public health, or human services environments.
• Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration (MBA), Public Health (MPH), or a comparable field.
