About Pixyls
Pixyls is a Canadian e-commerce company that creates sticker-by-number kits and other imaginative products that customers truly enjoy. The brand has already sold more than 250,000 kits worldwide across Canada, the United States, and additional international markets, and it is growing quickly. While the products are strong, the current website does not yet reflect their quality or creativity.
The company is a team of 15 people working remotely from Canada, the US, the UK, and Spain. In this role, you will collaborate with talented artists and creative teammates and help present their work in a sharper, more immersive way through a polished 4K visual experience.
Role Overview
The Growth Designer will take ownership of the visual experience across the brand. This is much more than a purely aesthetic design role. Success here depends on understanding user behavior, conversion psychology, and how design contributes to revenue. The goal is to create pages and experiences that not only look strong, but also perform strongly. The standard is high: product pages should feel as distinctive and compelling as the kind of experience customers see on top-tier LEGO product pages.
What You’ll Work On
- Create and implement product pages and landing pages on Shopify that are designed to convert.
- Study customer segments and build funnel experiences based on intent and where buyers are in their decision-making journey.
- Lead the direction of product and lifestyle photography.
- Shape the website experience for launches, collections, and marketing campaigns.
- Keep brand storytelling consistent across the website, email, and social channels.
- Partner with freelancers and outside creatives whenever additional support is needed.
- Use AI tools as part of your everyday workflow to increase speed and efficiency; this is required for the role.
What You Bring
- A refined design sense, backed by a portfolio that clearly demonstrates quality work.
- Experience in UX and UI, with the ability to think through user journeys rather than only visual layouts.
- Hands-on landing page and conversion optimization experience, including the ability to explain what improves performance and why.
- Brand-building capability, with comfort maintaining and evolving a visual system over time.
- Daily use of AI tools as a normal part of how you work.
Nice to Have
- Working knowledge of web development, including the ability to build or adjust Shopify pages using Liquid, HTML/CSS, and Figma-to-code workflows.
- 3D modelling ability for product visualization and interactive previews.
- Experience with CRO and analytics platforms such as GA4, Hotjar, Triple Whale, or similar heatmap and A/B testing tools.

Compensation and Trial Period
This is a full-time remote position. A two-week paid work trial is part of the hiring process. Compensation is approximately CAD 85,000 to CAD 95,000 for a candidate who is strong in design and CRO but less technical on the development side. For someone who can truly cover the full scope, including design, development, CRO, and creative direction, compensation is approximately CAD 105,000 to CAD 120,000. There is room for advancement based on the impact you create.
