Group Leader Mechanical Design (m/f/d)

Job Overview

We are seeking a Group Leader for Mechanical Design to lead and develop our mechanical design team. The role involves comprehensive responsibility for mechanical construction and assembly within the engineering department. You will be accountable for mechanical aspects related to the conception, design, new construction, and modernization of electroplating facilities and associated components, including peripherals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and guide the mechanical design engineers, fostering their professional growth.
• Oversee mechanical design and assembly functions within engineering.
• Manage mechanical contributions in planning, designing, constructing, and updating electroplating equipment and associated systems.
• Coordinate and execute projects closely with the machine and equipment design management and relevant departments.
• Develop technical specifications and requirement documents (functional and performance specifications).
• Ensure efficient and economical use of capacity, resources, and materials in your area of responsibility.
• Optimize design processes and introduce innovative technologies.
• Create designs for mechanical functional components, assemblies, and systems.
