Role Overview

The Grounds & Maintenance Attendant is responsible for ensuring the park’s environment is clean, safe, and visually appealing. This role entails maintenance of facilities, landscaping duties, equipment upkeep, and guest service responsiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily cleaning and tidying of the park to maintain a pristine appearance.
• Upkeep and cleanliness of facilities such as amenities, camp kitchens, and play areas.
• General grounds maintenance including landscaping, mowing, and litter clearance.
• Conducting repairs and routine upkeep on park accommodations and associated facilities.
• Management and maintenance of park equipment and tools.
• Compliance with all safety protocols to maintain a secure environment for guests and staff.
• Timely and professional response to guest requests.

Candidate Requirements

• Prior experience in groundskeeping and maintenance roles.
• Proficiency with building maintenance tasks and grounds care.
• Strong attention to detail ensuring safety and aesthetic standards.
• Competence in operating groundskeeping machinery and power tools safely.
• Effective time management and flexibility to work a seven-day rotating roster.
• Trade qualifications are preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience in pool maintenance is a plus.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license is mandatory.

Additional Information

• Candidates must provide a Federal Police Clearance before employment can be offered.
• This position includes physical activities such as lifting up to 20kg, kneeling, squatting, handling chemicals, and using machinery.
