Role Overview and Responsibilities
- Ensure daily upkeep to maintain the park’s cleanliness, orderliness, and overall appearance.
- Maintain the tidiness and condition of park facilities such as amenities, camp kitchens, and playgrounds.
- Perform grounds maintenance including landscaping, lawn mowing, and litter collection.
- Carry out repairs and routine maintenance on park accommodation and other facilities.
- Manage and care for park equipment and tools responsibly.
- Strictly follow safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for guests and staff alike.
- Attend to guest requests efficiently and professionally.
Candidate Requirements
- Prior experience in grounds keeping is essential.
- Proficient in building and grounds maintenance tasks.
- Strong attention to detail to safeguard property safety and attractiveness.
- Competent in operating groundskeeping machinery and power tools safely.
- Good time management skills with the flexibility to work across a 7-day roster.
- Trade qualifications are advantageous.
- Experience in pool maintenance is a plus.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
Additional Information
Candidates must supply a Federal Police Clearance before employment offers. The position involves physical requirements such as manual handling up to 20kg, frequent kneeling and squatting, handling chemicals, and operating machinery.
