Graphic Illustrator

Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Graphic Illustrator for a contractor role offering a competitive rate of $8 per hour. This is a remote, part-time position requiring 40 hours of work per week with a mandatory 4-hour overlap with Pacific Standard Time. The candidate will actively participate in crafting stylized illustrations that align with provided briefs, ensuring consistency in composition and visual style.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce stylized illustrations grounded in briefs while maintaining visual cohesion and proper composition.
• Adapt multiple illustration styles adeptly and generate necessary variants with precision.
• Maintain high-quality standards in lighting, texture, and overall illustration quality.
• Accurately document artistic prompts, style selections, and metadata.
• Engage collaboratively with team members and integrate constructive feedback effectively.
• Deliver polished, production-ready final outputs consistent with project objectives.

Candidate Requirements

• Extensive professional experience as an Illustrator or in a closely related role.
• A diverse portfolio demonstrating capability across various illustration styles.
• Solid foundational skills in composition, color theory, and lighting techniques.
• Competence in painting or rendering scenes, characters, and environments.
• Ability to faithfully replicate multiple art styles.
• Expertise with creative software including Adobe Photoshop, Procreate, Adobe Illustrator, Affinity Suite, and Clip Studio Paint.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail along with effective time management skills.
