About the Role

Joining Bath & Body Works means being part of a leading fragrance and personal care brand centered on delivering positive associate and consumer experiences. As a Global Vendor Management Analyst, you will play a key role in strategic sourcing within the Contract Manufacturing category, working closely with multiple internal teams and external manufacturers. Your focus will include product development, cost analysis, and initiatives designed to enhance speed and cost savings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and communicate category strategies to cross-functional partners.
  • Manage sourcing events that enhance competition, optimize costs, uphold quality, and assure supply.
  • Evaluate and negotiate vendor proposals for new projects, communicating the final decisions.
  • Analyze and mitigate cost increase requests while explaining their impact on the business.
  • Conduct detailed analyses to uncover opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies.
  • Lead management of tooling expenses from external vendors and collaborate with internal teams to maintain standard costs.
  • Extract and analyze data using business IT tools and potentially train or delegate tasks to temporary staff or other associates.
  • Assist in implementing and executing Bath & Body Works sourcing strategies, including vendor setup, maintenance, and performance improvements.
  • Maintain vendor profiles and capabilities and support the RFQ process through vendor communication.
  • Drive category strategy analytics and contribute to sourcing excellence and departmental initiatives.
  • Participate in execution of Value Engineering projects and central department programs.
  • Support talent development through individual development plans, performance reviews, and continuous learning opportunities.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in Purchasing, Operations Planning, Packaging/Supply Chain Engineering, or Strategic Sourcing.
  • Strong attention to detail combined with solid analytical capabilities.
  • Robust financial skills to assess and interpret situations with appropriate criteria.
  • Effective multitasking in a fast-paced environment with accuracy and calmness.
  • Proven negotiation skills positively impacting business outcomes.
  • Decision-making ability including transparent explanation of analytical reasoning.
  • Collaborative and self-driven, with creative problem-solving skills.
  • Conducts all work professionally with integrity and confidentiality.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred; relevant internships or leadership roles advantageous.
  • Experience in manufacturing or consumer goods/retail is preferred.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
