General Manager (GM) – Pilates

About the Role

The General Manager will spearhead the overall management, performance, and expansion of the Pilates business. This role involves directing commercial success, ensuring high-quality customer services, managing studio operations and personnel, and steering business growth with strategic planning and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the Pilates business strategy, operations, and commercial outcomes.
• Create and implement yearly business strategies, budgets, revenue goals, and growth initiatives.
• Manage daily studio activities to maintain uniform service quality across all sites.
• Track essential performance indicators such as revenue, membership numbers, client loyalty, usage rates, and profitability.
• Spot and develop new business growth opportunities including expansion, partnerships, and new revenue channels.
• Lead, mentor, and oversee the performance of studio managers, Pilates instructors, and core team members.
• Guarantee exceptional customer experiences and actively work to increase satisfaction and retention.
• Supervise pricing models, membership options, promotional campaigns, and commercial strategies.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to boost brand visibility and attract customers.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, health and safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Foster a culture of high performance through leadership, talent development, and performance evaluation.
• Deliver regular business performance updates and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience

• Possession of a bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
• A solid background of 8 to 12 years including minimum 5 years in senior leadership roles.
• Experience in Pilates, fitness, wellness, hospitality, lifestyle, or upscale service sectors is strongly preferred.
• Excellent skills in commercial and financial management encompassing budget and profit-and-loss oversight.
• Demonstrated competency in multi-location operations and business scaling is desirable.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and people management abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of customer-centric and service-oriented business models.
• Effective communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an asset.
