Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned and entrepreneurial General Manager to spearhead Nova Sky Stories' operations in Singapore and support the expansion across the Asia-Pacific region. This leadership role involves developing client relationships, partnering with venues, government bodies, and regulatory agencies while scaling local operations. You will work closely with global teams across production, flight operations, permitting, creative, engineering, and logistics to execute top-tier drone shows and deliver exceptional experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary Nova Sky Stories representative in Singapore and back growth initiatives throughout APAC.
• Establish and nurture robust partnerships with clients, venues, tourism organizations, government entities, and strategic collaborators.
• Identify and pursue opportunities for expanding the market, new partnerships, and business development.
• Keep abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and new prospects within the region.
• Assist in strategic planning and long-term growth for the region.
• Develop strong client and stakeholder relationships through all project phases, ensuring superior customer experiences.
• Serve as the main point of escalation for client issues and operational challenges locally.
• Collaborate with internal teams to consistently surpass customer expectations.
• Facilitate planning and execution of drone shows across Singapore and APAC in coordination with global teams.
• Ensure safe, efficient project delivery compliant with Nova standards.
• Engage in permitting, compliance, and regulatory processes.
• Promote ongoing operational enhancements and scalability.
• Recruit, mentor, and lead local operational teams as business scales.
• Cultivate a workplace culture grounded in collaboration, responsibility, innovation, and safety.
• Bridge communication between local staff and Nova's global leadership.
• Support employee development and manage performance.
• Oversee successful operations and uphold company reputation in the market.
• Manage budgets, resources, and operational priorities locally.

Essential Qualifications

• 10 to 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in sectors such as operations, event production, entertainment, aviation, technology, or hospitality.
• Proven track record leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects from initiation to completion.
• Strong client relationship management skills with ability to develop trusted stakeholder connections.
• Experience in building and scaling teams and operational functions within fast-moving environments.
• Robust business understanding with capability to integrate strategic planning with practical execution.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and deliver outcomes under dynamic conditions.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and relationship-building expertise.
• Experience collaborating across international organizations and multicultural environments.
• Valuable experience engaging with government bodies, regulatory agencies, and public stakeholders.
• Expertise in supporting business growth, market expansion, or overseeing regional operations is preferred.
• Knowledge of project management, operational planning, budgeting, and business development.
• Professional proficiency in English is mandatory; knowledge of Asian languages is advantageous.
