Garment Merchandiser

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Garment Merchandiser based in Tirupur, Tamil Nadu, responsible for overseeing buyer interactions and managing the order cycle from development through to production and shipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage communication with buyers and clarify order specifics.
• Oversee sampling, costing procedures, approvals, and production scheduling.
• Create and update Time & Action (T&A) schedules to track progress.
• Collaborate with teams handling fabric, trims, sampling, production, and quality control.
• Ensure prompt follow-up on fabric, trims, and accessory procurement.
• Supervise order progress to guarantee timely completion of tasks.
• Organize pre-production (PP) meetings and manage sample approvals.
• Maintain thorough documentation related to orders and production activities.
• Accurately convey buyer requirements to factory personnel.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Apparel, Fashion, Textile, or a related discipline.
• Between 3 to 14 years of relevant experience in garment merchandising.
• Strong understanding of garment construction, fabric types, and production processes.
• Excellent communication abilities and proactive follow-up capabilities.

Salary Range: ₹25,000 to ₹50,000 per month
