Role Overview

As a Retail Assistant at Repco, your primary mission is to ensure every customer has a positive in-store experience. From greeting customers as they enter, guiding them through our product range, upselling potential items, to efficiently processing transactions at the till, you play a key role in customer satisfaction.

Key Duties

• Maintain a strong safety mindset to protect yourself, colleagues, and customers
• Deliver authentic customer service and create meaningful interactions with shoppers
• Use your customer service skills to drive positive sales results
• Keep the showroom impeccably presented and merchandise well organised
• Manage stock activities including receiving, dispatching, and storage
• Contribute positively to the team culture by being cooperative, enthusiastic, and collaborative
• Be prepared for physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and climbing

Skills and Experience Required

The position heavily focuses on delivering excellent customer service. Applicants should naturally enjoy interacting with people and have prior retail or customer service experience. While knowledge of automotive products is advantageous, it is not essential as comprehensive product training will be provided. Confidence working in a sales environment and excellent communication skills, including a good phone manner, are important. A team-oriented mindset and a proactive attitude are also key.

Working Hours

Tuesday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, totaling 43.5 hours per week.
