Key Responsibilities

• Carry out general housekeeping in residents' rooms, including vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, dusting all cleared flat surfaces, and sanitizing areas.
• Collect linens from the community residents regularly.
• Maintain hallways and shared spaces as instructed by the supervisor.
• Perform various laundry and cleaning tasks to ensure the nursing home remains sanitary and free from unpleasant odors.
• Ensure an adequate supply of clean linen is available to support the comfort and care of all residents.
• Gather laundry from residents on a daily basis or as required.
• Tag new residents' clothing items appropriately.

Qualifications

• Possession of a high school diploma or GED.
• Prior experience in a long-term care setting is preferred but not mandatory.

Additional Information

Compensation ranges from $16 to $17 per hour.
