As a Front-End Developer, you will collaborate closely with designers, back-end developers, and cross-functional teams to deliver responsive, accessible, and high-performing web and mobile interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks. You will also engage with Drupal-based website development and contribute to enterprise-level integrations and content management practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Convert visual designs into responsive, accessible user interfaces optimized for web and mobile devices.
• Develop clean, modular code using frameworks such as React, React Native, Angular, and native mobile technologies when relevant.
• Create reusable UI components and maintain a shared design system to uphold consistency.
• Enhance front-end performance through lazy loading, code splitting, caching, and reducing render times.
• Work alongside back-end teams to integrate APIs and optimize data interactions for seamless front-end/back-end communication.
• Handle Drupal platform development including module creation, theming, content structuring, and secure scalable integrations.
• Establish testing protocols including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to maintain code quality.
• Ensure compliance with accessibility guidelines such as WCAG 2.1 and Section 508 for inclusive experiences.
• Keep abreast of new technologies, frameworks, and front-end development best practices.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools to optimize the development workflow and encourage team adoption.
• Participate actively in Agile processes including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to improve team efficiency.
• Collaborate globally with designers, product managers, QA, DevOps, architects, and other development teams across time zones to align project priorities and technical approaches.
• Produce technical documentation including design specifications and validation plans to support scalable development.
• Manage development activities across distributed team members and partners, facilitate knowledge exchange, resolve issues, and ensure project milestones and quality standards are met.
• Provide mentorship and leadership to junior and intermediate developers through code reviews, sharing expertise, and guiding best development practices.

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3 to 5 years of professional experience in front-end development targeting web and/or mobile platforms.
• Advanced skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6 and above), and principles of responsive design.
• Hands-on experience with React and/or Angular frameworks for web application development.
• Proficient in PHP programming including CMS customization, API integration, and backend support.
• Experience working with CMS systems such as Drupal, Strapi, or comparable Headless CMS.
• Strong grasp of object-oriented and functional programming paradigms in JavaScript.
• Competent in consuming RESTful APIs and manipulating JSON data formats.
• Understanding of accessibility standards and applying inclusive design methodologies.
• Familiar with front-end performance tuning and debugging tools.
• Experienced in using version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, detail-oriented mindset with capability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proven skills in technical leadership, coordinating multi-contributor development projects, and influencing technical decisions without hierarchical authority.
• Demonstrates reliability and punctuality to uphold team productivity in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Assets

• Exposure to content management platforms like Adobe Experience Manager.
• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) and DevOps collaborations.
• A passion for innovation and ongoing skill development.
• Previous experience in the airline or travel sectors.
