Role Overview

As the Founding Product Lead, you will take full ownership of defining and executing the product strategy for Zauber's AI agent platform. You'll be responsible for shaping and delivering the roadmap, translating complex logistics operational challenges into scalable, practical AI-based solutions, and overseeing the complete product lifecycle from discovery through launch. Your decisions will influence how global logistics companies optimize their operations for the decade ahead.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and drive the product vision balancing customer-specific requirements with scalability, technical constraints, and business impact.
• Engage directly with enterprise clients to deeply understand their workflows and pain points, converting these insights into detailed product requirements and agent system designs.
• Collaborate tightly with engineers to design integrations and user experiences that reflect the complexities of freight forwarding.
• Manage the full product lifecycle including prioritization, success measurement, and iteration informed by real production data.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of 5 years in product management with a focus on technical, preferably AI, automation, or enterprise software products.
• Comfortable navigating uncertain environments and making well-informed decisions with partial information.
• Strong technical intuition enabling productive collaboration with engineering teams without necessarily writing code.

Desired Qualifications

• Proven success delivering products that provide tangible value to customers.
• In-depth knowledge of agentic Large Language Model (LLM) products and their practical production capabilities and limits.
• Excellent skill in transforming vague customer challenges into precise product requirements and scalable technical solutions.
• High commitment to gaining domain expertise through close involvement with users and customers’ daily operations.
• Fluency in English required; knowledge of German is a significant advantage.

Logistics & Work Environment

• Work onsite in Berlin office three days a week (Monday to Wednesday), with expected travel within Europe.
• Annual company offsite, with the previous year's trip lasting four weeks in San Francisco.
• Position available for immediate start.
