Finance Management Intern

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables

Assist in designing and documenting comprehensive workflows and processes across critical finance areas including pricing, budget reporting, and Open-to-Buy (OTB) operations. Identify opportunities to standardize and enhance efficiency in pricing processes, establish structured reporting mechanisms for actuals, committed spend, and forecasts, and support documentation and streamlining of OTB workflows.

Process Improvement

Thoroughly document finance processes to spot manual bottlenecks and pain points. Propose and implement solutions to reduce manual workload and boost operational efficiency. Create templates, toolkits, and guides that facilitate repeatable and scalable financial procedures.

General Finance Assistance

Provide support for various ad hoc finance assignments and contribute in team meetings and cross-functional discussions to deepen understanding of finance functions.

Learning Opportunities

Acquire foundational finance skills including technical accounting, develop practical knowledge on core finance elements such as General Ledger, Profit & Loss, Business Area, and Cost Centres. Gain hands-on experience with process mapping, workflow design, and operational enhancements while learning to minimize manual task time. Participate in a full Financial Planning & Analysis cycle to understand budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
