Field Division Manager

Role overview

FMS Group is looking for an accomplished operational leader to take charge of its Field Division in Mackay and the Coalfields. In this position, you will guide a core business unit, improve performance across operations, support team development, strengthen client partnerships, and help deliver strong results as the company continues to expand.

What the role involves

You will oversee the overall effectiveness of the Field Division and be accountable for safe, efficient, and profitable delivery of field services to the customer base. The role requires close collaboration with supervisors, field staff, and clients to lift performance, identify growth opportunities, and maintain a strong focus on continuous improvement.

Key duties

• Direct the operational and financial results of the Field Division.
• Coach, mentor, and support supervisors and field team members.
• Create and sustain productive relationships with important customers.
• Oversee safe delivery of all field operations.
• Manage divisional budgets, performance measures, and profitability.
• Spot business development opportunities and contribute to steady growth.
• Lead improvements across people, systems, and work processes.
• Make sure company policies, legal obligations, and customer requirements are met.

Experience and skills sought

• Proven background leading operational teams or field service crews.
• Strong understanding of financial and commercial drivers.
• Hands-on experience managing budgets and KPIs.
• Well-developed customer relationship management ability.
• Strong leadership and coaching capability.
• Current driver licence.
• Trade qualification is an advantage.
