Role Summary
We are looking for compassionate Family Coordinators to guide families throughout the cremation journey, from initial care intake to the return of ashes. This position involves managing an assigned caseload, acting as the primary contact and support for families, and coordinating all critical elements including transportation and documentation while ensuring clear communication and compassionate service.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and oversee cases from start to completion, providing thorough support to families.
- Respond to inquiries through phone, email, and text with empathy and professionalism.
- Navigate families through the cremation process, fostering trust and rapport.
- Coordinate logistics such as transportation, paperwork, cremation scheduling, and ashes delivery.
- Work collaboratively with teammates to cover workloads and maintain seamless service during peak times.
- Interact with internal teams and external partners to efficiently progress cases.
- Diligently update records and systems, monitoring for any issues and ensuring smooth case transitions.
- Utilize tools including HubSpot CRM, Aircall phone system, Slack, GSuite, and our proprietary case management platform.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum two years’ experience in customer service, operations, or hospitality-focused roles.
- Proficient in spoken and written English with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to convey calm, clear communication that builds trust quickly through multiple channels.
- Advanced multitasking skills with strong attention to detail while working swiftly.
- Demonstrated ownership and proactive problem-solving abilities.
- Genuine enthusiasm for contributing to an impactful mission in a novel sector.
- Home office setup that meets the technical specifications outlined by the company.
Preferred Additional Skills
- Experience balancing empathy with operational execution in sensitive situations.
- Fluency in Spanish to support a wide range of families served.
Job Details
- This is a full-time remote role operating Monday through Friday on the US day shift from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. PT, including a 30-minute lunch break.
- Compensation ranges from $5.50 to $9.00 per hour (USD).
- Technology stack includes HubSpot CRM, Aircall phone system, Slack, and internal case management software.
