Role Overview
We are in search of a meticulous Fact Checker to join our editorial team based in Delhi/NCR. As the final gatekeeper for accuracy and reliability, you will verify facts, claims, and images before content is published to maintain editorial integrity and credibility across all stories.
Key Responsibilities
- Thoroughly verify every statement, claim, and fact within articles to guarantee their accuracy prior to publication.
- Authenticate and confirm factual correctness of images included in short news pieces.
- Ensure that no story is redundantly published across content platforms.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of the editorial team and help fulfill organizational objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent proficiency in English, with strong grammar and proofreading capabilities.
- Keen eye for detecting errors, contradictions, and inaccuracies within content.
- Logical and analytical mindset capable of sound reasoning.
- Good general awareness to understand various content domains.
