Role Summary

This full-time Fabricator position, located onsite in Limerick, involves assembling, cutting, shaping, and finishing materials such as metal, wood, and composite panels adhering to technical plans and specifications. The role requires daily use of hand and power tools, precise measuring and marking, executing basic welding or fastening tasks, and ensuring all parts comply with quality and safety standards. Collaboration with supervisors and teammates is essential to meet production timelines, keep the workspace orderly, and maintain safety compliance. Responsibilities may also include diagnosing fabrication challenges, aiding in installation prep, and engaging in process improvement efforts.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Proven experience in fabrication, carpentry, metalwork, construction, or a related trade within a workshop or manufacturing setting.
• Capability to read and interpret technical drawings, measurements, and specifications with meticulous attention to detail.
• Competency in operating hand and power tools as well as basic fabrication machinery, with knowledge of proper tool maintenance and safety.
• Thorough understanding of workplace safety standards, including personal protective equipment usage and correct manual handling techniques.
• Strong problem-solving abilities to detect defects, make necessary adjustments, and uphold quality measures.
• Effective communication and team collaboration skills suitable for a fast-paced workshop environment.
