Position overview

Stalwart Contract Finance, LLC is seeking a senior operations leader to direct and improve the organization’s daily business activities. This role is focused on strengthening efficiency, productivity, profitability, and sustainable growth while keeping operations aligned with broader company goals.

What you will do

Direct everyday operational activity across departments and business units.
Create, refine, and roll out operational policies, procedures, and plans that support organizational objectives.
Improve performance by finding opportunities to raise efficiency, output, and cost control.
Track KPIs and operational metrics to confirm that business targets are being met.
Work with executive leadership to shape and execute strategic business initiatives.
Manage operating budgets, forecasts, and resource distribution to support strong performance.
Maintain compliance with internal policies, industry rules, and quality requirements.
Spot operational risks and build mitigation plans that protect business continuity.
Lead change efforts and process-improvement programs across the organization.
Coordinate cross-functional teams so business operations run smoothly.
Oversee workforce planning, talent growth, and performance management in operational teams.
Assess and introduce technology tools that improve how the business operates.
Develop and sustain strong relationships with clients, vendors, partners, and other key stakeholders.
Prepare operational reports and present updates to executive leadership and the board of directors.

Required background

A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Management, Finance, Engineering, or a similar discipline is required; an MBA is preferred.
8 to 15 years of progressive experience in operations management, including senior leadership exposure.
Demonstrated success in leading large operational functions and cross-functional teams.
Strong grasp of business operations, process improvement, and organizational development.
Hands-on experience with budgeting, financial analysis, and performance management.
Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and decision-making capabilities.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle several priorities in a fast-moving business setting.

Preferred strengths

Experience in strategic planning and organizational transformation.
Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or similar operational excellence frameworks.
Strong project management and change management ability.
Experience using enterprise systems and business process automation tools.
Ability to guide and motivate diverse teams across multiple locations.
