Overview
Wolverhampton Homes Ltd is seeking a dedicated Estate Caretaker for their Neighbourhoods Team, aiming to enhance residential areas by maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming environments. This permanent role involves working 37 hours per week, sometimes including participation in emergency response activities, primarily on-site within Wolverhampton.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the upkeep and cleanliness of communal spaces, blocks, and estates to a consistently high standard.
- Conduct routine inspections, reporting necessary repairs, safety hazards, and issues related to fire safety.
- Perform caretaking duties such as litter picking and cleaning tasks.
- Carry out occasional grounds maintenance to enhance outdoor areas.
- Engage with customers and collaborate with colleagues and contractors to sustain safe and inviting neighborhoods.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrates pride in delivering excellent work and visible outcomes.
- Physically capable and comfortable working outdoors in varied weather, involving walking and stair climbing.
- Works independently and manages assigned tasks efficiently.
- Provides exceptional customer service and establishes positive community relationships.
- Holds a valid full UK manual driving licence (essential).
