Their manufacturing facility in Rajpura, Punjab, features advanced CNC machines, precision tools, and a robust utility infrastructure including 11 kV HT/LT electrical systems, cooling equipment, DG sets, and solar power installations, providing a dynamic environment for maintenance professionals.
Role Overview
The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will ensure continuous and efficient operation of electrical systems, production equipment, utilities, and HVAC within the manufacturing plant. This responsible role demands preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to maximize uptime and maintain safety and regulatory standards.
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of electrical machinery and systems.
- Diagnose and repair issues related to HT/LT panels, transformers, DG sets, motors, MCCs, PCCs, VFDs, APFC panels, and electrical control circuits.
- Supervise power distribution to maintain consistent energy supply throughout the facility.
- Manage coordination with service contractors and oversee maintenance contracts.
- Operate and service utility equipment including air compressors, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, water treatment systems, and DG sets.
- Maintain and optimize HVAC operations, including AHUs, FCUs, ventilation and exhaust systems.
- Track utility usage, suggesting improvements for energy efficiency and cost savings.
- Prepare and implement preventive maintenance schedules and maintain comprehensive maintenance and inventory records.
- Analyze causes of equipment failures and establish corrective actions.
- Collaborate in planning and conducting annual shutdowns for maintenance.
- Adhere to electrical safety standards and company safety policies, implementing Lockout/Tagout procedures.
- Participate in safety and maintenance audits, identifying and resolving potential risks.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- 6 to 8 years working experience in electrical maintenance within industrial or manufacturing settings.
- Familiarity with utility systems, HVAC equipment, electrical distribution, and plant maintenance.
- Keen knowledge of industrial automation, including PLCs and SCADA systems, is preferred.
- Certifications in Electrical Safety, HVAC, Energy Management or Industrial Maintenance are advantageous.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Expertise in HT/LT electrical systems, transformers, VFDs, DG sets, and related equipment.
- Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and maintenance documentation.

Compensation
