Electrical Engineer - Maintenance

Role Overview

Grade Electricals Pvt. Ltd. works with high-voltage electrical networks and supports the performance and dependability of electrical infrastructure for industrial customers. This role is for an Electrical Engineer focused on maintenance work, including installation, troubleshooting, testing, and site support across project and client locations in Mumbai.

Installation and Setup

• Set up electrical systems, wiring, panels, lighting, and related equipment according to drawings and technical specifications.
• Carry out electrical work at exhibitions, maintenance locations, and customer sites as needed.
• Make sure earthing, cable routing, and load distribution are completed correctly.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting

• Carry out regular inspections and preventive maintenance for electrical systems.
• Detect issues and complete repairs quickly to reduce downtime.
• Diagnose faults in power supply systems, panels, DBs, and equipment.

Testing and Quality Checks

• Test electrical installations before commissioning.
• Confirm that lighting, power outlets, and equipment are working properly.
• Maintain quality standards in line with company and client expectations.

Documentation and Reporting

• Keep daily work logs and update job completion status.
• Share details of material usage, faults, and site-related issues with the supervisor.
• Support preparation of basic electrical reports when required.

Material Handling

• Handle and store electrical materials and tools carefully.
• Reduce wastage and use resources efficiently.
• Inform the supervisor ahead of time about any material shortages.

Breakdown Support

• Respond to urgent breakdown calls and resolve problems promptly.
• Be prepared to work overtime or attend urgent tasks when needed.

Discipline and Conduct

• Follow company policies, attendance rules, and reporting lines.
• Maintain professional behavior at client locations and exhibitions.

Candidate Profile

Applicants should have a Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, and ITI in Electrical is also mentioned as a suitable background.

Additional Information

The salary range provided for this position is INR 3,00,000 to INR 5,00,000 per year. This is a walk-in opportunity based in Mumbai, India. The role may involve overtime and urgent field work.
