About the Role
We are looking for a seasoned Electrical Design Engineer with a strong background in consultancy and project design to join our team based in Qatar.
Key Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Possess 5 to 8 years of experience in electrical design projects, including notable consultancy roles.
- Hold mandatory UPDA/MMUP approval credentials.
- Demonstrate expertise in designing and engineering electrical building services.
- Skilled in creating detailed electrical design drawings, performing calculations, preparing specifications, and developing comprehensive technical documentation.
- Have thorough knowledge of Qatar's electrical codes, standards, and authority regulations.
- Proficient with AutoCAD and Revit MEP software for electrical design.
- Capable of effective coordination of electrical designs with other disciplines such as architectural, structural, and MEP teams.
- Understand deeply the electrical systems applicable to building and infrastructure projects.
- Comprehend design standards, project requirements, and submission protocols for authorities.
- Exhibit strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
