Role Overview

The Doorman plays a vital role in greeting and assisting residents, guests, and visitors at the entrance of residential or commercial buildings. This position ensures a friendly and professional reception, upholds security procedures, and maintains a welcoming atmosphere.

Key Duties

• Warmly welcome and assist residents, guests, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Open doors and help with packages, luggage, or deliveries as necessary.
• Oversee building entry and exit points to guarantee security and access control.
• Maintain detailed logs of visitors, deliveries, and service personnel.
• Coordinate with concierge, security staff, or building management about residents' requirements or unusual occurrences.
• Assist with arranging transport such as taxis or ride shares and provide directions when asked.
• Address basic inquiries and share information regarding building services or amenities.
• Keep the lobby and entrance areas clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
• React promptly to emergencies or incidents and correctly follow reporting protocols.

Qualifications

• Completion of high school or an equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or security is advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct.
• Capacity to stay alert, courteous, and composed under stressful situations.
• Physical ability to stand for long durations and handle light lifting when required.
