Role overview
Woolworths Pharmacy is looking for a Dispensing Technician to join its Claudelands team in Hamilton, Waikato. This is a full-time, on-site position reporting to the Pharmacy Manager. The pharmacy network spans more than 45 locations across New Zealand and is focused on giving local communities convenient access to pharmaceutical support.
Working roster
The roster for this role is:
- Tuesday: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- Wednesday: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- Thursday: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- Friday: 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Saturday: 10:00 AM to 5:00 AM
Key responsibilities
You will support the pharmacy team by handling dispensing tasks, keeping an eye on inventory, and delivering strong service to customers. The role is suited to someone who wants to make a genuine difference in the community and who consistently puts customers first.
What you will be doing
- Preparing and dispensing medicines with accuracy and care.
- Checking stock levels and supporting inventory control.
- Providing helpful, high-quality customer service.
What we are looking for
To perform well in this role, you should bring prior retail experience, hold NZQA Level 4 or 5 registration as a technician with the required accreditation, and have the legal right to work in Aotearoa. A strong commitment to doing what is right for customers is essential.
