Role overview

We are looking for a Dispatch Rider to join the Operations team in Lekki, Lagos State. In this position, you will be responsible for moving goods and documents across the island area of Lagos in a careful, timely, and professional manner.

The role calls for someone who can work with speed and accuracy while maintaining high service standards. You will help keep deliveries running smoothly by managing your daily schedule, choosing efficient routes, and ensuring items reach their destinations without delay or damage.

Your work will directly support operational efficiency and help strengthen client trust through dependable delivery service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver goods and documents promptly and accurately to the specified destinations.
• Stay in touch with the operations team and provide delivery progress updates.
• Choose and use the most efficient routes to complete deliveries on time.
• Protect all items in transit and handle them carefully to avoid damage or loss.
• Maintain clear records of completed deliveries and client interactions.
• Carry out basic checks and routine upkeep of the assigned motorcycle.
• Escalate any delivery-related incidents or problems to the operations manager.

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a dispatch rider or in a similar delivery role.
• A valid rider’s license and the ability to operate a motorcycle safely.
• Good knowledge of road routes and traffic flow within Lagos Island.
• Must live on the island.
• Strong verbal communication and people skills.
• Ability to work alone and manage time effectively.
• Basic reading, writing, and number skills needed for record-keeping.
• Dependable, punctual, and highly responsible.
