- Serve as the final authority for interpretation of standards and approval of risk-based deviations and alternative controls.
- Establish and manage audit and assurance frameworks aligned with EHSS management expectations, including strategies for systemic issue escalation.
- Lead and develop a global team responsible for EHSS standards, strategy, assurance, and analytics.
- Define enterprise KPIs and maturity models, lead governance forums to assess EHSS performance and drive corrective actions.
- Integrate EHSS governance into enterprise quality systems, capital project oversight, change management, and supplier management.
- Monitor and proactively update standards based on regulatory, sustainability, and energy trends before risks materialize operationally or within the supply chain.
- Participate in risk reviews, regulatory inspection readiness, and represent the company in external benchmarking and standards forums.

- Typically 10 to 12+ years of progressive EHSS or governance experience in global, multi-site, regulated environments with demonstrated authority in enterprise-level standards and integration.

- Advanced problem-solving skills for complex enterprise challenges balancing safety, environment, and operational risk.
- Strong executive influence skills to work across functions and geographies establishing governance frameworks and assurance protocols.
- People leadership experience with responsibility for direct and matrix reporting relationships across global teams.
Preferred Qualifications
