Overview
Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Digital Engagement Officer to join their Communications Team. This role involves managing and delivering digital engagement strategies across social media platforms, website content, and digital content creation to support the Trust and its Charity.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the management and daily operations of the Trust’s social media accounts including LinkedIn, YouTube, BlueSky, and X, coordinating content planning, production, and community interaction.
- Oversee social media for other Trust channels such as the GOSH Learning Academy and Research & Innovation on platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook, and collaborate closely with the GOSH Charity social media team and Senior Digital Marketing Executive.
- Work alongside the Website Manager to update and maintain website content, handle onboarding of website editors, and manage the website requests inbox, ensuring timely responses to inquiries.
- Develop digital media content aligned with the Trust’s communication strategy for use across multiple digital channels, providing support and training to the Communications team on content creation.
- Manage filming and photography equipment efficiently to meet production goals within budget constraints.
- Organize and prioritize web requests, collaborate with internal teams to address user needs, and manage social media inbox responses promptly.
- Provide guidance and training on CMS usage to Communications staff and website editors, enhancing their effectiveness through tailored training programs.
