Role Overview
As a Digital Designer at RALLY, you will create compelling visual narratives that drive social and political movements. Your work will encompass crafting digital and social media content for nonprofit campaigns that inspire action and shift public perspectives. You will collaborate closely with strategists and communication experts to produce diverse digital assets such as social media campaigns, digital ads, reports, and presentations, adapting creative ideas across various formats for maximum impact.
Responsibilities
- Develop captivating social media visuals including static posts, carousels, stories, paid advertisements, and short videos for multiple client campaigns.
- Manage ongoing social media calendar content by transforming approved concepts into consistent visuals across platforms.
- Create engaging digital marketing materials such as digital ads, email graphics, newsletters, and landing page designs aimed at driving action.
- Design narrative-rich materials like decks, reports, and toolkits that present complex data clearly and persuasively.
- Interpret broad campaign strategies into effective and appealing visual designs.
- Stay current with design trends, social media developments, and new technologies including AI tools to enhance creative brainstorming sessions.
- Handle multiple client projects efficiently, communicating progress and overcoming obstacles proactively.
- Work collaboratively with creative and cross-functional teams to revise designs based on feedback.
- Engage professionally in client meetings and design presentations, demonstrating adaptability and curiosity.
- Contribute UI/UX design skills to website wireframes, mockups, and web visuals.
- Prepare high-quality visual assets for print and digital, ensuring accessibility and proper file standards.
- Support the development of new campaign branding through moodboards, color exploration, and logo design.
Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in digital design within agency, freelance, in-house, or nonprofit environments.
- A diverse portfolio showcasing strong fundamentals, attention to detail, visual storytelling, and adaptability across social media and digital campaign materials.
- Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Canva, Google Workspace, and familiarity with video editing software such as CapCut.
- Understanding of social media platform trends and preferences, including TikTok, Instagram Reels, Snapchat, and LinkedIn, with ability to create engaging platform-specific content including brief copywriting.
- A self-motivated, iterative design approach within collaborative, feedback-rich settings, demonstrating strong communication skills and project management.
- Ability to translate complex social issues into accessible, impactful digital content that drives audience engagement.
- Strong organizational abilities to manage several projects simultaneously with accurate time tracking.
- Passion for social impact and using creative abilities for advocacy and positive change.

- Competitive salary range of $32 to $34 per hour, based on experience.
