About The Role

The Facilities Group Hawaii (TFG HI) merges two established local firms with over five decades of expertise in delivering comprehensive facilities maintenance services across Hawaii. We specialize in commercial cleaning, routine janitorial tasks, carpet care, floor maintenance, pressure washing, sanitization, and general building repairs. As a Day Porter, you will serve diverse client locations, including office suites, professional complexes, educational centers, medical facilities, and financial institutions, acting as a vital representative of our company to ensure a positive impression is maintained.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of office spaces, restrooms, common indoor and outdoor areas.
• Use appropriate cleaning agents and techniques effectively.
• Possess reliability, efficiency, and a strong dedication to excellent customer service.
• Exhibit professionalism, integrity, and self-motivation.
• Adapt to company-specific procedures and processes.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with clients and team members.
• Be flexible to work up to 40+ hours weekly, including nights and weekends.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

• Previous janitorial or housekeeping experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently.
• Basic proficiency in English for effective communication.
• Strong organizational abilities and keen attention to detail.
• Capacity to lift up to 25 pounds comfortably.
• Capability to perform physical tasks such as walking, standing, pushing, pulling, stooping, bending, mopping, sweeping, wiping, and vacuuming for extended periods (4–8 hours).
• Self-driven with excellent time management and prioritization skills.
