Job description
About the Role
We are looking for a precise and analytical Master Data Administrator to manage and uphold critical supply chain master data, ensuring its accuracy, consistency, and integrity throughout our ERP and related business systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, validate, maintain, and update master data such as supplier records, product and material details, Bills of Materials (BOM), as well as procurement and logistics information.
- Ensure data completeness and consistency across all systems, performing routine data cleansing and upkeep tasks.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of data quality through audits and prompt resolution of discrepancies in coordination with stakeholders.
- Develop and implement data validation procedures to reduce errors.
- Support ERP master data maintenance, upgrades, integrations, and system enhancements.
- Guide and train system users on proper master data management processes.
- Collaborate with teams across Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, Finance, Sales, Production, R&D, Quality, and IT to fulfill business data requirements.
- Engage with suppliers and external parties to verify and update master data.
- Contribute to continuous data governance and process improvement initiatives.
- Prepare reports and analysis to aid operational and strategic decisions, monitor supply chain KPIs, and identify enhancement opportunities.
- Adhere to workplace health, safety, and compliance policies, reporting hazards and incidents per company standards.
Experience & Skills Required
- At least 2 years' experience in master data management or data administration within supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, or related fields.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalents.
- Strong detail orientation and analytical capabilities.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of SQL is an advantage.
- Good understanding of supply chain and procurement workflows.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Capability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines efficiently.
- Problem-solving skills coupled with a mindset geared towards continuous improvement.

Additional Information
- Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 5:30 am to 2:30 pm; Saturday 5:30 am to 11:30 am
- Location: Saltlake Sector 5, Kolkata, West Bengal, India
- Salary: Up to 600000 INR annually; negotiable based on experience
